Why Miller for Infants? In pediatric patients, the epiglottis is U-shaped and protrudes at a 45-degree angle. A curved Macintosh blade may fail to lift it adequately. This Miller set allows the clinician to physically lift the epiglottis out of the line of sight, ensuring rapid and safe intubation.
